Our Process

Why Choose Us?

We offer top quality, high-end designer furniture pieces that are custom fit to your home or office. Most of our wood comes from fallen trees, old barns and old buildings all over the Sunshine State. All of our wood goes through an extensive process of cutting, drying and surfacing before it becomes a functional piece of furniture.

Sourcing

Over the last five years we have traveled all throughout Florida to save and salvage rare hardwood logs that we later turn into fine furniture and functional art that lasts a lifetime. Most of our logs are saved during heavy storms, hurricane season, or when mother nature has other plans for them. We also source reclaimed lumber from old Florida buildings, homes and barns.

Drying

One of the most important parts of our operation and can take up to a year or more. The logs sit for months after the tree falls, then they are cut into slabs, professionally treated for bugs and stacked in an open air flow environment for another few months before they go into the kiln.

Surfacing

Once the wood comes out of the kiln it’s ready to be surfaced flat. The wood is normally cracked, split, twisted and very uneven after drying so surfacing is very important. After the wood is surfaced the next step is sanding which is a multi-step process to achieve a smooth finish.

Sealing/Finishing

We seal all of our tables with the highest quality commercial grade Italian varnishes and USA oils.

Epoxy Pours/River Tables

Custom river tables have become one of our most popular styles of tables and can be any color.

Assembly/Delivery

We design, build and assemble in our warehouse in Tarpon Springs. We also work with a local welder who does all of our metal work.
